Today is our last profile in honour of International Women’s Day. Lori Chadwick serves as the Manager, US Properties, managing the US property acquisition activities for WDBA. This requires close collaboration with the Michigan Department of Transportation, the lead agency for acquiring US properties required for the project. Our border cities have figured prominently for Lori, a proud Windsorite who started her career as an Urban Planner for the City of Detroit.

Following key roles supporting the construction of the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway, Lori joined WDBA, a position that she feels allowed her to ”connect-the-dots” in her career. Of the Be Bold for Change theme for this year’s International Women’s Day, Lori said “A courageous woman, taking risks in her own life, can inspire others to make change. By being our own advocates for a brighter future, by going after what we want, by doing what is right, and by being each other’s biggest fans, we are being bold for change. Whether in the office, in the classroom, around the kitchen table, at the gym, or on the sidewalk – support one another in this journey called life.”
