At a media event on November 10, 2014, MP Jeff Watson, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, announced the final appointments to the Board of Directors of the Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority and the International Authority.

“We need dedicated people to make this project a reality,” said Watson. “I am pleased to announce two appointments that will help this project move forward.”

Craig S. Rix, who was appointed to the WDBA Board of Directors by the Minister of Transport, is a University of Windsor law school graduate, and, through his legal practice, has significant experience in human resources law and advocacy, strategic planning, governance and public policy.

MP Watson also announced the appointment of Eddie Francis as WDBA’s representative to the International Authority. Mr. Francis’ appointment will take place December 1, 2014.

In welcoming Mr. Francis and Mr. Rix, WDBA Board Chair, said that their professional experience “will greatly benefit WDBA and International Authority as they build the new bridge.”
