The Gordie Howe International Bridge project is a once-in-a-generation undertaking. It will have a positive influence on the region and will create significant opportunities for local residents, communities and businesses on both sides of the border.
At our recent project milestone events, including WDBA’s Preferred Proponent announcement on July 5, 2018, and Michigan Advance Construction groundbreaking on July 17, 2018, we provided an opportunity for attendees to tell us what the Gordie Howe International Bridge means to them.
A video booth was installed at each event and attendees shared their feedback on camera. Their responses highlighted economic development, community benefits, tourism, connectivity, local jobs, workforce development and much more.
